A BIG thank you to the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Department for their continued support. For the fifth year in a row, the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Department participated in No Shave November, with all proceeds benefiting our All Cancers Assistance Endowment Fund. In the past five years, they have raised over $24,000! The interest from this fund will be used to help patients in our community with cancer diagnoses that need financial assistance for treatment. We are blessed to have the support of our law enforcement!

Thank you to our Seguin Police Department for their continued support, participating for the fourth straight year in No Shave November! All proceeds from their No Shave November campaign will be benefiting our Cancer Assistance Fund. This year they raised $1,100.00! These funds will be used to help patients in our community with cancer diagnoses that need financial assistance for treatment.

Congratulations to the recipients of our 2019 Guadalupe Regional Medical Foundation Keller-Siepmann Hazard Endowment Scholarships. We awarded $7,600 in scholarships to employees advancing their skills and knowledge in the healthcare field.

Thank you to Faith Lutheran Church (FLC) for their generous $2,000 donation to purchase a Medela Symphony Hospital Grade Breast Pump for the Mother’s Room at GRMC. This area is a private room for nursing mothers. This room is available for employees, as well as visitors of patients. We are grateful for Faith Lutheran Church in supporting the mission of our lactation consultants and believing in the importance of promoting breastfeeding.

​Thank you Seguin Police Department for the donation of $200 in their efforts during Lawman’s Stache Showdown Campaign, benefiting our Foundation’s Cancer Assistance Fund. These funds will be used to help patients in our community with cancer diagnoses who need financial assistance for treatment.


Thank you to St. Luke’s Lutheran Health Ministries of San Antonio for blessing GRMC with a $12,500 grant to provide funding for mammograms to women who otherwise would not be able to afford this life-saving diagnostic exam. St. Luke’s Lutheran Health Ministries has been a wonderful benefactor in expanding health care in our community for many years, including generous support over the years for our Prescription Assistance Program (PAP). This new program for unfunded mammograms will further add to the many lives that St. Luke’s has positively impacted in our area.

Thank you to the Arenas family for their generous donation of $2,500. This donation will provide funding to the Intensive Care Unit to advance the critical care training and knowledge of the ICU nursing team. The vision of the contribution assist ICU nurses in obtaining their Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification. This next level of care will enable more critically ill patients to stay in your community hospital. Dr. Arenas has challenged other physicians and community members to match his family's gift and share their vision of the next level of nursing education at GRMC.

We have been blessed with a bequest from the Estate of Dr. Richard Fleming for $5,000. The funds have been designated to the Guadalupe Clinic for patient eye care. We are grateful for this donation which will improve the quality of care provided to our patients with chronic disease.

Thank you Noon Rotary Club of Seguin Grant for $1,000 to fund appliances for the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit kitchen remodel. This grant will build our IPRU program and allow patients to regain their independence by learning how to cook and perform other tasks in their own home. We are so grateful!

Thank you to the Cargill Cares Team for their $2,000 donation to the GRMF Advancement Fund. The Advancement Fund provides funding for any medical advancement at GRMC. Thank you Cargill, Inc. for making an impact on your community and the advancements at GRMC. You make a difference!

Thank you Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio for blessing our Guadalupe Clinic for Chronic Disease with a $225,000 grant to expand needed healthcare services in our community! The grant funding will allow the Clinic to expand services to include women’s health as well as further expand patient access to chronic care management. The clinic focuses on care for adults with such conditions as diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure and asthma. This grant will allow us to expand the team of staff to address women’s preventative needs.

LifeSaver Grant Recipients 2018

Congratulations to the three GRMC departments that are recipients of LifeSaver Grants for 2018! GRMF funded over $17,000 in capital expenditures for these grants!

​Our Cardiopulmonary department received five heater plates for their bipap machines! They now have a heater for every machine in their department!
